Mirror Mirror Answer me. Is sachin the greatest?

Comments by ex cricketers(Ian chappel and others).. media furious over sachin.. doubts among his loyal supporters..

What is his future?? and what is the future of indian cricket without sachin??

Ya, I stood before a HONEST Mirror and asked the mirror, Is there still some magic left in his bat????

The mirror told me..

A 15 year kid was booed and asked to go and drink milk by 1000s of paki supporters, but the kid replied by hitting 4 sixes of, the all time best spin wizard abdul quadir..

The mirror immediately added that, it is not just history even two months back when every one was criticising him for not hitting a match winning hundred he hit a 100 of 76 balls, which proves that he has lot of fuel in him..

I ASKED THE MIRROR IS SACHIN BLOCKING THE ENTRY OF SOME YOUNGSTERS?

The mirror told me, well even in the recently concluded ranji trophy, sachin was the only composed batsman in both the teams to destroy the best bowling attack of that season, who else can replace him? who has played better than him in the domestic circuit?

I THEN ASKED THE MIRROR IS LARA BETTER THAN SACHIN TODAY?

The mirror told me, noways.. sachin still want to open and control the proceedings unlike lara who comes in at 3rd, 4th or 5th down to escape the new ball and to play out the 5th and 6th bowler of the opposition.. and there is not a single match winning innings of lara for the past two years, and the MIRROR asked me if i can name a odi match winning innings or lara.

I THEN ASKED THE MIRROR WHO IS THE GREATEST INDIAN CRICKETER?

The mirror answered me.. "I dont know about the greatest indian cricketer", but I can tell you about the greatest player to play this game ever and his name is Sachin Tendulkar..

I asked the mirror WHY?

The mirror replied, when a country was completely deprived of economic, intellectual, natural and sporting wealth. And when half the gold of our country was given to the world bank for loan and when india was considered as a third world nationand when we indians lacked confidence even to keep our heads high.. when the whole nation was craving for a reason to be proud of.. and when even a fourth position in olympics (PT usha) was considered as a great achievement and a thing to cherish.. a star arose.. sorry a SUN arose.. a 15 year old kid made the indians proud...

Proved that world records can be created even by indians.. he not only changed the indian cricket single handedly.. he changed the outlook of indians single handedly..

Indians were no more losers.. they too can achieve.. he inspired a generation and many more generations to come..

The cricketers of the same team who are elder to him now (Rahul dravid) got inspired form that kid..

And that kid carried the burdens in his shoulders to make a millions to smile. So, He is the greatest sporting personality ever.

I THEN ASKED THE MIRROR IS HE NOT EARNING A LOT AND IS HE NOT SPENDING LOT OF TIME IN ADVERTISEMENTS?

The mirror replied me, well a CEO who is carrying the burden and responsibility of a company is paid a lot, should a person who is carrying the responsibility of a whole nation, not be paid heavily?

Moreover, knowing his responsiblities he has never used his star status to do wrong things, When UBgroup approached him with a heavy amount he simply refused to do an ad for king fisher mineral water.

He is earning a lot and unlike Mr. Steve waugh(taking nothing away from his deeds) he does a lot of things without media hypes for orphans, people with cancer and eye problems.. should such a person not earn more.. Mr. Laloo who has criticised the cricketers and has earned in billions by corruption can he not earn money by his hard work??

I THEN ASKED THE MIRROR WHAT IS THE FUTURE?

The mirror answered me, i am not a magical mirror to tell you future. But i am a honest mirror, I dont know what lies ahead, but without sachin cricket will become just like another sport, you can produce world champions, record breakers and heroes but nobody can inspire a nation for 18 years like what the master has done.

I THEN ASKED THE MIRROR, WHAT ABOUT THE CRITICISM OF THE FORMER PLAYERS?

The mirror answered me, They are doing their duty sincerely and we should not blame them, the media want them to write and pays them so in return the media should earn so they write against the most popular hero so that the program, newspaper or electronic article will be seen by many. They are earning money and fame for themselves and their employers, nothing wrong in that.

I ASKED THE MIRROR, SO WHAT IS WRONG?

The mirror answered me, you stupid, unloyal, shameless, heartless, senseless and brainless idiot.. you enjoyed his batting for nearly two decades and boasted about him and his cricket for nearly two decades and after a two match failure you ditch him and ask for his retirement and believe in those critics than believing in the master. So all the mistake is in your side..

He opened for india and took india single handedly for semi finals and then to finals and against his wish he was brought down the order and both times india failed even to qualify for further rounds.. and you blame him for everything.

It also added that "I dont want to reply to people with short term memory loss like you. good bye".

And ALAS! the mirror became dumb.. and i could not talk to it anymore..

SORRY guys.. now it is upto u to say..

PN:This is an article by one of my friend who is a true fan of sachin like me, most of the things written here happened to both of us. So i felt like sharing with ull..

How to Make the Most Money with Mylot

Mylot is one of the fastest growing money making sites on the Internet. It is free to join and use. You will never be asked for your credit card. Mylot pays it's over 30,000 members on the 15th of each month for the previous month's earnings. Payments are made through Paypal when you have reached the minimum $10 payout.

There are several ways to earn money with Mylot. Here are 5 of them:

1. Ask questions. Whenever you ask a question that someone else gives an answer to, you earn. The more popular the question, the more money you will earn. I suggest you look for popular topics (topics with more than 20 responses) and think of a good, unique question that hasn˜t been asked in that category.

2. Answer questions. To answer a question click on the discussion tab. You are also free to leave comments to other people's responses, but you will not be paid for those. To earn the most you will want to answer each question with as much detail as possible. Make sure you have at least 3 to 4 sentences in your answer. It also helps to use key words or words that were used in the question within your response.

3. Add images. Mylot pays for images. Any images you would like to use. You may add images to your question and to your answers. This alone can double your potential earnings. I submitted the same Wiggles picture with several of my questions and answers and earned each time.

4. Your interests. It is worth your time to click on "My Interests" and fill them out. Whenever you submit a question through one of your interest categories Mylot pays you extra. It will take some time to set up, but it is a step that pays off big in the end.

5. Referrals. Possibly one of the quickest ways to multiply your income is by referring others to Mylot. Mylot pays you 25% of what your referral is earning. That equals $.25 for you for every $1.00 your referral makes. If you have 100 referrals earning you $.25 per day that equals $25 per day or $750 per month. Not everyone who signs up participates, however, so you will never want to stop trying to get referrals. It is not hard to do. I currently have 28 and counting. Referrals account for 80% of my earnings per month on Mylot.

If you are already involved with Mylot or are interested in giving it a try, I would encourage you to implement the suggestions above. It will significantly increase how quickly you earn and allow you to earn maximum profits.

Apple iPhone announced at Macworld

Apple has announced the long-awaited iPhone - a widescreen iPod, a mobile phone, a mobile Internet terminal, a digital camera and a portable PIM organizer all-in-one. Some of the most exciting features of the iPhone include the OS X it runs on and touchscreen control with multi-finger gestures with no need for a stylus whatsoever.

Equipped with 4 or 8GB of integrated memory, the Apple iPhone has got more than the needed storage space to bring your photos, videos and music to life straight into your palm. It's much like iPod in that respect and features a large 3.5" touchscreen TFT display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels. But unlike an iPod it can take pictures with the integrated 2 megapixel camera. It even has an accellerometer which allows it to tell whether you are holding the device in landscape or portrait mode so that it can turn the display orientation correspondingly. And all that mobile virtuosity comes at the meager thickness of 11.6 mm.

A quad-band GSM/EDGE mobile (sorry, no 3G/HSDPA support), the iPhone is a truly amazing smartphone that can not only make and receive calls, but can also store your contacts, tasks, notes, calendar events, etc., as well as synchronize them seamlessly with the PC. If that's not enough the device also has Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0 support. Some sweet highlights of the device are the Proximity sensor, which turns the display off when you lift the iPhone to your ear, as well as the Ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the display's brightness.

The other strengths of this multimedia device are more or less Internet-oriented, since the iPhone offers exceptional web browsing capabilities thanks to the Safari web browser with integrated Google search plus the Google Maps application that can take you all over the world - unfortunately without a GPS receiver. The user experience can be further enhanced through the use of various widgets, well-known and loved by all users of the Mac OS X.

Apple would be offering the iPhone to end customers in USA through the Cingular networks. Unfortunately, the device is expected to become commercially available in June 2007 only after it's approved by the FCC. Market availability in Europe is expected no sooner than Q4 2007, and as late as early 2008 in Asia. Initial pricing in Cingular networks will be 499$ for the 4GB model and 599$ for the 8GB one - both with a two-year contract.

"GURU"

Gurubhai…gurubhai…aave re, Gurubhai..gurubhai..chhave re!

The first major release of 2007 won’t cull your expectations. Also, this will be the first time when Abhishek Bachaan will be tested as a ‘solo-crowd-puller’ after establishing himself as an actor. His earlier FAMOUS hits (Bluffmaster, KANK, Sarkar, Dhoom, etc) always had some good supporting actors, but this time; he is individual.

In ‘Guru’, Abhishek is paired with Ashwariya Rai, who previously gave a dud act in Dhoom 2. A lot of speculation is made about their pairing up for life…so, in that sense too, a lot is on stake for both of them (esp. after the miserable showing of Umraoo Jaan). The Ash-Abhishek duo has also acted together in movies like Kuch Na Kaho & Dhaaii Akshar Prem Ke, which turned out to be super-flops.

So…is it worth it?
Yes, it is…but to say a huge hit; will be a bit too early. The movie is different from the league and can’t be put under the banner of a normal ‘entertainer’. Guru has also been released in southern with a different name ‘Gurukanth’…Mani Ratnam’s strategy.

Mani has done his job to perfection. As the director cum screenplay head of the movie, he has churned out good magic from his cast. All the village scenes are shot marvelously (esp. the starting of the movie). If you have witnessed Mani Ratnam’s earlier classics like Roja and
Bombay , you would imbibe his potentials very well. He is well supported by his cast. Aishwarya Rai has got over from her pathetic ‘bikini’ dressing sense (which she applied in Dhoom 2). In guru, you will see her in saries and her look rains charm all around. Acting wise too she is satisfactory. Mithun Dada as an ideal journalist is good and in parts imitates ‘Mahatma Gandhi’. Vidhya Balan has a short role, delivering a surprise in the movie (watch out!!). Madhavan is awesome and acts bravely with superb expressions. At no point of time, he looks artificial in his acting…absolutely superb.

Abhishek Bachaan as the main lead, performs much maturely than his earlier performances in recent times. He carries out the image of an old-aged businessman very gracefully. The stubborn look is worth praising, though I still feel he was a bit over-anticipative sometimes. His last 5 min speech was the crux of his performance. And yet again, there is Mallika Sherawat…no prizes for guessing her contribution!!

The story of the movie is about a common Indian, who wants to earn big money. Initially, he works hard and one day decides to start his own business. On the road to big money, he employs unethical ways and indirectly promotes corruption. Seeing all this happening, Mithin Da starts off a campaign through his news publication with the help of Madhavan, who works in his company and is an honest journalist. Rest of the story is about who wins…

Viewers will get enough points for debating in this movie like ‘Is it correct for a poor chap to get onto the ladder of success without considering the country’s laws and other economic regulations?’, ‘Isn’t it wrong to betray your shareholders by showing the profits, which in reality are resultants of illegal activities?’, etc…all the issues are relevant in today’s India too.

The best part of the movie: - A R Rehman’s majestic creations…’Tere Bina’ and ‘Jaage Hai’ are delight to hear and there picturization is also worth viewing.

Good direction, mature acting, a realistic story, fantastic music score, well-written lyrics, a surprise KISS, Chotu B in white hair….hmmm….a worth it for sure ;)

Thanks to Gulzar for these below mentioned lines. Now I can narrate them to my mom, when she tries to wake me up in morning…
“jaage hai der tak hume,
kuch der sone do
thodi si raat aur hai
subah ko hone to do”…plz
